Extra! Extra! Bird Box DROPS ON NETFLIX

Marleena was cast alongside other blind and vision impaired actors to be in Bird Box, a suspense-thriller film for Netflix starring Sandra Bullock. After a two-day shoot and waiting 11 months, Marleena is thrilled to discover that she makes an appearance in the last scene —-about 10 minutes from the end of the movie. How appropriate that Marleena makes her on-screen debut in a film that addresses blindness which has been so much apart of her life’s work as a disability awareness activist. The cast a crew were very respectful and accommodating and provided a positive, memorable experience.
